Some bus routes are delayed today.
Today, a corroded pipe in the HVAC system at Malden High School caused flooding in a hallway. This is an example of the challenges that come with aging building systems.
The Prop 2: Green Wave Strong – Malden Strong proposal includes replacement of the HVAC system at Malden High School.
Addressing these needs now reduces safety risks, limit disruptions, and avoids higher repair costs in the future. Prop 2 is a no-tax-increase bond, allowing the district to make these improvements while keeping the current tax rate the same.

Today our JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) students had the opportunity to learn from representatives with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT)! 🚧
MoDOT shared information about the many career opportunities within the transportation industry and the important work they do to keep Missouri moving safely.
Students also participated in a hands-on engineering activity where they built a miniature steel bridge. 🌉 This fun challenge helped them learn about teamwork, problem-solving, and the real-world skills used in construction and transportation careers.
Thank you to MoDOT for investing in our students and helping them explore future career paths! #JAG #CareerExploration #MoDOT #FutureReady

Our JAG students recently had an incredible opportunity to attend the Career Development Conference at Lincoln University in Jefferson City!
While there, students toured the university campus, competed in the Knowledge Bowl, and attended a Career Expo where they explored a variety of valuable career pathways and job opportunities.
After the conference, the group also had the pleasure of touring the Missouri State Capitol and visiting with State Representative Cameron Bunting Parker and Senator Jamie Burger.
Experiences like these help our students connect classroom learning with real-world opportunities and inspire them to think about their future paths. We are proud of our JAG students for representing our school so well!
