"Mrs. Layne is truly an outstanding example for the students at Malden High School. Her unwavering dedication to her students and their success is evident in everything she does. She consistently goes above and beyond to create a positive environment and opportunities for her students to thrive.

She has devoted countless hours of her own personal time to creating a new and improved concession stand, demonstrating her commitment not only to her students but also to the school community as a whole. She never hesitates to step up when she sees something that needs to be done or an opportunity for improvement. She takes initiative, works tirelessly, and always looks for ways to make things better—without ever needing to be asked.

Her generosity, work ethic, and genuine care for others make a lasting impression on those around her. Mrs. Layne is more than a dedicated teacher; she is a role model, a leader, and a wonderful example of what it means to serve students and the school community. Malden High School is fortunate to have someone who gives so much of herself to help others succeed."

She's constantly walking and checking our doors, noticing safety hazards that need to be adjusted or fixed, and she loves to keep our abandoned areas cleaned, dusted, or organized! Thank you, Lieutenant, for all you do!"

We are excited to welcome our grandparents to spend a special afternoon with their grandchildren at Malden Elementary!

🕑 2:00–3:00 PM

📅 September 9 — PK–KG Grade
📅 September 10 — 1st–2nd Grade
📅 September 11 — 3rd–5th Grade
