The half-time challenge will take place at all home games and during the Varsity Halftime. The challenge will be split into two age groups this year.

Second grade presented a "Balloons Over Burkhart Parade" for the elementary school today. They read a book about the Macy's Day Parade and then created their own balloon masterpieces to share with the school.

Phlebotomy with JAG
SEMO AHEC staff Jessie Polk came to speak to students today about Phlebotomy. Students learned about this career field and the requirements of becoming a Phlebotomist in the state of Missouri with specialized training.
Students were able to practice using a mechanical arm and do several blood sticks (on the arm provided). Students enjoyed the activity and in the future will be able to take a course in Phlebotomy to do this as a Healthcare career if they choose to.
