Information from Southeast Missouri State College:
SEMO-Kennett will be offering a FAFSA Day on Monday, December 15th, and a Paying for College Night on Tuesday, January 20th. Both events are open to all students, no matter where they plan to attend college. Our goal is simply to help students and families navigate financial aid and understand their options.

Students who plan to complete the FAFSA will need access to their parent/guardian tax information. While a parent does not have to attend the FAFSA event, it may be helpful if they can attend. Parents are especially encouraged to attend the Paying for College Night, as we will discuss financial aid, scholarships, and planning strategies.

The Malden R-1 School District is currently accepting applications for Head Football Coach and Body Conditioning Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year. Applicants must be eligible for Missouri teacher certification. Head Coaching experience will be preferred. Interested applicants can print an employment application at maldenmoschools.org. Activities for these dates will be located at the elementary school!

Elementary Boys Basketball Tryouts (5th and 6th grade boys) will take place on Monday, December 15th, from 3:00- 5:00 and Tuesday, December 16th, after school from 3:45-5:15!

Reminder: JV HS Basketball will play at 6 PM!! Come for their game and be ready for the half court shot challenge!! Big prizes, tons of fun! The MHS gym will be the place to be!!
