A huge thank you to Malden Girl Scout Troop #72013!
The troop recently collected and donated items to help stock the Malden Elementary School Care Closet.
The generosity helps ensure that our students have access to essential items when they need them most. We are so grateful for your kindness and community spirit!

Yesterday, the STUCO officers had the opportunity to attend the first Superintendent Roundtable Lunch with Superintendent Carie Fowler, Principals Robert Ison and Mark Pickard, and STUCO Sponsor Paige West.
This event served as a valuable opportunity for our elected student leaders to learn more about the school district, including the roles and responsibilities of the Superintendent and the School Board. The officers engaged in meaningful discussion, asked thoughtful questions, and were able to share their perspectives on student experiences and campus life.
We are proud of our student leaders for representing their peers so well and taking an active role in shaping the future of our school community.
At the beginning of the meeting, each student was asked to state something positive about our school. Below are a few of those statements:
-"I love how our teachers actually care about the students."
-"...the 4-day school week."
-"How close-knit all the grade levels are."
-"Our janitors keep our building so clean!"
-"The teachers are helpful and resourceful."
-"There is always something to be involved in."
-"There's no judgement from teachers or other students. We are free to be ourselves."
-"Our teachers are understanding of our busy schedules."
-"You can tell that our teachers really love doing their jobs!"
-"FCA meetings on Friday mornings."
-"I like that the principals are enforcing the dress code this year."
-"Every teacher actually tries to build relationships with their students!"
-“Walking tacos and fries at lunch!”

Tonight is FOOTBALL FRIDAY

MES wans to give a huge thank you to First State Community Bank of Malden for partnering with our counselor, Mrs. Massey, to provide a new shelf and personal hygiene items in the girls’ restroom at the elementary school.
Your generosity helps ensure our students have what they need and feel cared for every day. We appreciate your continued support of our school and community!
